When should I replace them?
Plan around the system manual’s 12–18-month schedule, with earlier changes when flow or water conditions require them.
Follow the shutoff, pressure-release and flushing instructions. Your plumber can handle the change if you prefer.
Does this replace the material inside the tanks?
No. This pack replaces the two external cartridges. The main tank media and softener resin are serviced separately.
Can my plumber change them?
Yes. Your plumber can replace the cartridges and check the housings and seals. Labor and any additional parts are separate.
